Artificial Grass Maintenance

Durability of any type installed artificial grass depends on regular maintenance and proper care. Its proven that under proper maintenance, installed artificial grass will last longer than the warranty period.

Several points how properly use the court with artificial grass flooring:

·      If the artificial grass for decorative purposes, try to walk on it rarely, especially in dirty shoes;

·      Don’t throw trash (glass, cigarette butts, chewing gum and etc.) on the artificial grass surface

·      Don’t leave sharp or heavy objects on the synthetic turf flooring

·      Don’t exploit damaged lawn, till the artificial grass flooring will be repaired

·      To prolong esthetic look of installed artificial grass, better not to drive around on any means of transport other than cleaning machines.

·      It’ s is suggested not to use synthetic turf covering during snowing or melting period

Unfilled artificial turf should be cleaned 5-6 times a year. Suggested to clean the surface after a little rain or dew. Revenge brush follows the opposite inclination of the pile.

Along the edges of the field, weeds must be removed manually and regularly, by being careful not to damage the lawn substrate.

Special attention should be paid to the collection of garbage, especially organic matter (leaves, needles, etc.) since it can get stuck in a pile after a time, contaminating the drainage system.

Garbage should be regularly cleaned with a rake, panicle or special vacuum cleaner.

Snow and ice do not harm artificial turf. But it should be cleaned by special vacuum cleaner, not a shovel or other mechanical tool.

For lasting of given warranty period it’s is strongly suggested to resort the services of professional cleaning twice a year, which is carried out in two stages.  

In the first stage, the court is inspected, cleaned from weed and damaged areas get repaired.

After inspection, the second stage is proceeded, surface get cleaned by special machines.

It removes rubbish, crumb rubber, sifting and airing the sand.

Sand sifting allows the coating to remain soft, which reduces the probability of injury on the court to zero.

By airing the sand, it eliminates artificial covering from weeds, moss and etc, which makes it clean from organic pollution, which has positive effect on the drainage system.

After all, above operations, if necessary, fill up with new sand.

The main purpose of professional cleaning, not only thoroughly clean the lawn, but also give the same aesthetic look as it was at the first day of installation.
